Advancing Telemedicine Technology for Better Patient Outcomes
In time critical situations we overcome traditional obstacles of distance and time by connecting physicians and patients with multidiscipline acute care telemedicine capabilities. REACH leverages new and evolving technologies to provide access to specialist physicians and supports that interaction with integrated patient data, real-time video channels, enhanced diagnostic assistance and automated documentation capabilities.
The REACH system delivers better care outcomes for thousands of patients while generating a positive return on investment for hospitals.
We're making a difference, one consult at a time.
The REACH Platform Is Future Ready
The strategic advantage of the REACH system lies in the proprietary software platform that has been designed to run multidiscipline acute care telemedicine applications. This means that future capabilities are not limited by device build and configurations. REACH provides hospitals with additional physician specialty applications, interface customizations and system upgrades with no service interruption or extensive staff retraining.
Technologyy Created By Physicians for Better Patient Outcomes
Starting in 2003, the Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG), led by Professor and Chairman Dr. David C. Hess, designed, developed and implemented a web-based telemedicine / telestroke solution called Remote Evaluation of Acute ischemic stroke (REACH). After being successfully implemented in several rural Georgia hospitals, this system received widespread attention and recognition from medical institutions across the United States. To support a more distributed network of REACH systems and to facilitate sales and support for a commercial version of the REACH system, REACHMDConsult, Inc. was incorporated in March 2006.

Two months after its incorporation, REACH won the New Business Launch Competition sponsored by Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Georgia Business Alliance. In 2008, 2009 and 2010, TAG also recognized REACH as one of the Top 40 Innovative Georgia Technology Companies.
